Product Overview
Polyacrylamide (PAM) is a synthetic water-soluble linear polymer formed by acrylamide polymerization. It is one of the most widely used organic flocculants in the global water treatment industry. According to different ionic properties, PAM is classified into anionic, cationic and nonionic types, each designed for targeted water quality and treatment scenarios.
PAM features long molecular chains and strong adsorption bridging ability. It can capture fine colloidal particles, organic pollutants and suspended solids that inorganic coagulants cannot remove, greatly improving sedimentation speed and effluent clarity. It also shows excellent performance in sludge thickening and dewatering, effectively reducing sludge moisture content and disposal costs.

PAM Types & Applications
Types:
■ Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM): Mainly used for municipal sewage sludge dewatering, printing and dyeing wastewater, food wastewater, pharmaceutical wastewater and organic sewage treatment. It efficiently aggregates organic suspended matter and improves solid-liquid separation effect.
■ Anionic Polyacrylamide (APAM): Suitable for industrial inorganic wastewater, mining wastewater, coal washing water, metallurgical wastewater and river water purification. Excellent for turbidity removal and sedimentation acceleration.
■ Nonionic Polyacrylamide (NPAM):Applied for low-temperature and low-turbidity raw water treatment, special industrial wastewater and mineral flotation clarification, performing stably in neutral and weak acidic water systems.
